I learned at a very young age that nothing worthwhile comes easy.

When I was 5 years old I went skating for the first time, during my skating career I was tested and judged. I knew that if I wanted to be great I had to work hard. I officially retired from competitive skating at 20 years old due to injuries. I took what I learned from sport and applied it to my education. After attending university I worked at Flad Architects in their Healthcare sector which was a happy accident. That was where I developed a passion for designing spaces centered around patient care.

In 2014 I was able to move to Portland and worked at Clark Kjos Architects where their specialty is healthcare architecture. My work in healthcare was very rewarding and challenging work; I apply what I learned about compassion and dignity from healthcare into 100% of my work.

In November of 2018 I took a position with Gensler Portland, I wanted to experience projects with other market sectors. While there I worked on projects for the tech industry. I am currently in pursuit of a new workplace experience and am interested in all market sectors.
